DevOps Engineer at Lead

The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this role, you will serve as a key architect for our cloud environment, ensuring our infrastructure is as robust and scalable as the products our clients build. You will play a vital part in modernizing our software development life cycle, acting as the bridge between our engineering goals and our operational capabilities. By optimizing our cloud footprint and streamlining how we ship code, you will help us maintain the high standards of performance and reliability that our partners expect.

A day in the life

• You will lead the design and implementation of our continuous integration and delivery systems to ensure rapid, reliable software releases.
• You will manage and evolve our AWS cloud infrastructure, focusing on high-availability services like EKS, ECS, and RDS.
• You will implement best practices for infrastructure as code, focusing on resource optimization and cost-effectiveness across our entire stack.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer who thrives in a high-growth, autonomous environment where collaboration is key to solving complex problems. You communicate effectively in English and bring a deep technical background to the table, including:

• Over 7 years of relevant work experience, supported by a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in AWS technologies, specifically EKS, ECS, API Gateway, AppMesh, VPCs, RDS, and Step Functions.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and test-automation, preferably using GitHub.
• Strong proficiency in writing infrastructure as code, particularly using CDK.
• A humble approach to teamwork and a willingness to compromise to reach the most efficient technical outcomes.
• Prior experience in the fintech or banking sector is considered a significant plus.
