What you'll be doing
- You will build, implement, and maintain virtual machines within our hybrid environment, which spans both public cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- You will provide essential support for our production and testing systems, focusing on troubleshooting and continuously improving our existing processes.
- You will participate in a global, shared on-call rotation to ensure that our infrastructure remains highly available and meets our strict service level agreements.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in Linux and a drive for solving complex technical challenges. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working with DevOps automation, configuration management, and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in bash scripting along with experience in a secondary language like Python, Ruby, or Go.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting virtualized environments, database architectures, and observability tools.
- A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing, and TCP/IP.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a cross-organizational, global team.
