We provide advanced editing tools and hiring analytics to a global client base that includes companies like Square, Twitch, and Discord, and we are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote-first engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen our existing IT infrastructure and maintain robust security protocols.
- Find opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency.
- Manage and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Create and implement effective procedures for system troubleshooting.
- Build and operate comprehensive systems for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or backend engineering role.
- Proven ability to optimize AWS security groups using the principle of least privilege.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS automation.
- Proficiency with Docker and ECS.
- A solid understanding of security best practices.
- Experience designing and maintaining operational metrics, trending, and alerting systems.
- High level of proficiency in English.
- Ability to maintain a work schedule that overlaps with the US East Coast business day.
