About the Role:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a passion for infrastructure as code. At Aura we create tools used by all of Aura and we take pride in building at a massive scale. Help with every aspect of the software development lifecycle within Aura and are thought leaders guiding teams to a consistent and stable future. We write code! We are tool agnostic but expect you to be able to read code and create solutions using code.
Day to Day:
- Create tools for use by all of Aura in multiple languages and paradigms. EG Serverless / Containers. Doesn’t mean you have to have experience with all of these, but a willingness to learn, and a willingness to dive in.
- Investigate better ways to enable teams to deploy and manage networks and product deployments.
- Assist with deployments using Terraform and GH Actions.
- Debug cloud issues when development teams need assistance.
- Offer design assistance for teams trying new stuff. Help offer vision and strategic optimization to ensure we move forward quickly, and securely.
What you bring to the table:
- 3 - 5 years of experience
- Experience writing Infrastructure as code
- Experience with any programming language
- Passion for cloud computing, helpful and curious attitude, and an eye for details
- A willingness to engage with multiple teams to solve problems
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with Serverless or Containerized Deployments
- Logging and Monitoring strategies at scale
- Experience with Cloudwatch and Grafana
- Experience with Python or Typescript
- Experience optimizing costs in cloud
