About this role:
Petvisor is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with an AWS background to develop and manage the infrastructure supporting our suite of applications and services. In this role, you will ensure our platform meets the highest reliability, availability, and incident response standards. Your primary responsibilities will include provisioning and maintaining cloud resources, monitoring metrics and logs, troubleshooting application issues, and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve problems efficiently.

- Design, deploy, and manage the company’s cloud applications and services infrastructure
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and production environments
- Identify opportunities for automation in deployment processes and implement effective solutions
- Develop and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and auditing systems
- Work closely with the global Security Operations team to ensure adherence to security best practices
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency issue escalation
- Be a part of a global operations team that collaborates to support Petvisor products and services
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution
About You:
- Deep knowledge of core AWS products and concepts (eg. IAM, ALB/NLB, Route 53, RDS, EC2, ECS/Fargate, etc.)
- Experience supporting .NET applications (.NET Framework, .NET Core, IIS, Docker).
- Developed CI/CD pipelines (eg. Buildkite, TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
- Leveraged Infrastructure as Code to deploy cloud resources (eg. Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Familiar with development, deployment, and security best practices
- Implementation of tooling and processes to monitor resources and alert problems
- Understanding of containerization, networking, application, and configuration management
- Expertise in working on Linux/Unix-based operating systems
Nice to Have
- Experience in Windows-based environments and technologies (e.g. Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory)
- Experience with an AMI management tool such as Packer
