We are Flipster, a high-performance trading platform dedicated to connecting investors with unique insights and emerging opportunities within the crypto space. Our mission is to foster a decentralized and well-governed environment that drives progress for traders and innovative projects alike. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (SRE) to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity to help us build the future of finance.
What you'll be doing
- You will reproduce complex errors, develop robust test code, and ensure stable deployments to our production environment.
- You will work closely with our backend team to analyze high-latency services and drive continuous improvements to both our infrastructure and overall service performance.
- You will manage database performance optimization and oversee logging, APM support, and application-level monitoring dashboards to ensure seamless operations.
What you'll bring
- You possess 5 to 8 years of combined experience in backend development and DevOps engineering.
- You have a strong grasp of backend code, which allows you to identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and perform application-level troubleshooting.
- You are proficient with Docker and Kubernetes in a production setting.
- You have hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- You are comfortable coding in at least two languages, specifically Python and Rust.
- You have a solid understanding of microservices architecture and core computer science principles.
- You are a proactive problem solver who can define and tackle technical challenges independently.
- You have professional proficiency in both Korean and English.
- Experience with tools such as Terraform, Helm, Github Actions, Harbor, or Cloudflare, as well as background in fintech or crypto exchanges, is considered a significant plus.
