The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be a key leader in our technology department, focusing on the implementation and management of our DevOps practices across Azure and Google Cloud Platform. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, using your technical expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform to build scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure. This is a chance to drive innovation and ensure our systems remain resilient as we continue to grow.

A day in the life

• You will lead the deployment and management of our cloud environments, using Kubernetes to orchestrate services and ensure our infrastructure is both robust and scalable.
• You will design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to automate provisioning, ensuring our cloud setup is consistent and secure.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Dynatrace to monitor performance and ensure high-velocity, error-free software delivery.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in cloud engineering and a passion for automation. To succeed in this role, you should bring the following:

• A four-year degree in a relevant field with at least four years of experience, or an advanced degree with two years of experience, or equivalent practical expertise.
• Deep proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters and workloads within Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Advanced skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and strong capabilities in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud monitoring solutions, specifically Dynatrace, to maintain high system availability.
• A proven track record of project leadership, including the ability to mentor teams and manage complex software development projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset to help empower our development teams.
