What is this role?
We are searching for a DevOps Engineer III to join us in a Lead capacity. This is a full-time, hybrid position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in designing and operating our cloud-based developer platform, taking ownership of complex infrastructure challenges, and helping us shape our platform-as-a-product initiatives.
What will you do?
- Build and scale our AWS infrastructure using Terraform to manage modules, state, and automated pipelines.
- Design and automate CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to standardize our release practices.
- Operate Kubernetes clusters at scale, including deploying services, troubleshooting, and ensuring overall system health.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 7 years of experience in platform engineering, site reliability, or DevOps. We are looking for someone who brings deep technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to our team.
- Technical Proficiency: You have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Core Skills: You are comfortable working with Linux, containerization tools like Docker, and modern Git workflows.
- Communication: You possess excellent written and spoken English and are eager to mentor and coach other engineers.
- Soft Skills: You thrive in Agile environments, enjoy pair programming, and have a detail-oriented approach to solving complex problems.
Bonus points if you hold certifications like the AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or if you have experience with Ansible and multi-cloud environments.
What's in it for you?
Joining Emburse means being part of a company with significant momentum that serves over 12 million users across 120 countries. We offer an environment where you can work alongside innovative minds to solve real-world challenges.
- Hybrid work arrangements to support your work-life balance.
- The opportunity to drive efficiency and innovation for businesses on a global scale.
- A collaborative, inclusive culture that prioritizes your professional growth and success.
