The DevOps Engineer II will play a critical role in optimizing the development lifecycle, maintaining robust environments, and ensuring system reliability for a Conversational AI platform used by enterprises worldwide. Your expertise will drive the efficient delivery of AI-powered tools, supporting business needs and unlocking creative potential through intelligent automation.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, and Git integrations.
- Design and implement container orchestration solutions with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible for streamlined provisioning.
- Scale and optimize MySQL, Redis, and vector database instances for high availability both native apps and cloud based deployments.
- Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus and other observability tools.
- Automate application deployment processes for microservices using Spring Boot.
- Ensure source control best practices using Git and Bitbucket repositories.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Work with RHEL-family Linux environments for application hosting.
- Configure and manage load balancers and proxies, including HAProxy, for traffic distribution.
- Ensure seamless integration of applications with basic networking, including ports and protocols.
We would love to hear from you if:
- You have 3-5 years in DevOps or system administration roles.
- You have proficiency in Java, Python, Golang, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- You have expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- You have hands-on experience with Bamboo, and Bitbucket (git), Jenkins.
- You have proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP; optional knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud
- You have knowledge of MySQL, Redis, and vector databases.
- You have Prometheus setup and custom metrics design.
- You have a basic understanding of networking concepts, port configurations, HAProxy, and load balancers.
- You have advanced experience with Linux, specifically RHEL family.
- You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- You have experience scaling AI applications in production environments.
- You are familiar with advanced Kubernetes features like custom controllers or multi-cluster management.
- You have expertise in designing load-balancing strategies for enterprise systems.
- You have exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- You have prior involvement in high-traffic, scalable production environments.
This role is available in Bengaluru and will be hired into Amelia Global Services, a subsidiary of SoundHound AI. Our recruiting team will provide a total compensation range based on location and years of experience.
