Veracode is a global leader in Application Risk Management, helping organizations build and maintain secure software from initial code creation to cloud deployment. We are looking for a motivated DevOps Co-op to join our team in the United States to gain practical experience with cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines while working alongside our experienced engineering staff.
Responsibilities
- Help manage and automate cloud infrastructure across platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Support the maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software deployment.
- Assist with containerization and orchestration tasks using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot security incidents or logs.
- Develop automation tools and scripts using Python, BASH, or Terraform.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance infrastructure reliability and deployment workflows.
- Contribute to infrastructure as code development and configuration management.
- Create documentation for internal processes and technical configurations.
Must-haves
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Basic proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or BASH.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine desire to learn new technologies.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
