DevOps Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Mobilexpense

As we scale our cloud operations to support our continued growth, we are looking for a senior DevOps Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Brussels. In this hybrid role, you will help us build secure, scalable, and highly automated cloud environments on Microsoft Azure.

Key outcomes

• Design, deploy, and manage our Azure cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code practices.
• Develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines within the Azure DevOps environment.
• Support our application teams by managing deployments through Azure App Services and Azure Container Apps.
• Automate routine operational tasks using PowerShell and other native Azure automation tools.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of our cloud footprint.
• Collaborate with our security engineering team to implement robust identity, access management, and data protection protocols.
• Maintain system observability using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Participate in shared on-call rotations and incident response to maintain high system availability.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven background in a senior DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering capacity.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Advanced scripting skills using PowerShell for automation.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity and access management.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• A collaborative mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• An AI-first approach to work, with a demonstrated ability to use AI technologies to drive efficiency and results.

Preferred qualifications

• Specific experience managing Azure App Services and Azure Container Apps in a production environment.
• Direct experience with Azure DevOps for pipeline orchestration.
• Practical experience integrating various AI technologies into infrastructure workflows.
