At Toku, we are building the future of global compensation and employment. Our platform provides essential services like real-time tax calculations, a unified API for global hiring, and the ability to manage complex non-cash compensation such as token grants. We have become a vital partner for crypto organizations, particularly during token generation events. Our flagship product, Token Grant Administration, has already scaled to manage billions of dollars in value. With 20 million dollars in funding from top-tier investors like Blockchain Capital and Protocol Labs, we are growing quickly and looking for talented individuals to help us bridge the gap between crypto infrastructure and the real world.

Key Responsibilities

- At least 7 years of software engineering experience, ideally within a venture-backed startup environment.
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker, specifically with scaling infrastructure from the ground up.
- 3 to 4 years of experience focusing on infrastructure, tooling, and improving developer productivity.
- 1 to 2 years of experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with Digital Ocean is considered a helpful asset.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to learn new services quickly and execute projects with autonomy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion.

This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere.

We believe in supporting our team members with a flexible and rewarding work environment. Our benefits include:
- A remote-first work culture that prioritizes flexibility.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Competitive equity in the company.
- An Apple laptop to support your work.
