Are you ready to push the boundaries of what is possible in spectral robotics? At HyperSpectral, we use advanced machine learning and deep spectral analysis to turn complex data into real-world insights. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and help advance our AI-powered platform. If you are passionate about building technology that makes a tangible impact, we would love to have you on board.
What you bring
As a Senior Device Software Engineer, you will take on a full-time role based on-site in the United States. You will be responsible for the design and maintenance of our software ecosystem, ensuring that our hardware and cloud solutions work in perfect harmony. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing desktop and embedded software to control motorized components and automate our spectral robotics platform.
- Implementing and optimizing systems using platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Nvidia Jetson.
- Building and maintaining deployment solutions using cloud-based DevOps tools to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements
We are looking for a professional who holds a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. You should have at least three years of experience in embedded software development and hardware integration, ideally within the spectroscopy or laboratory data capture space. Proficiency in C#, Python, and JavaScript is essential, as is a solid understanding of systems integration, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. We value candidates who have experience with AI models, containers, and computer vision libraries like OpenCV. Beyond technical skills, you should be a disciplined problem-solver who thrives in a startup environment, communicates clearly, and can effectively collaborate across teams to meet project goals. Please note that this position requires U.S. citizenship, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
What we offer
Joining our team means you will be at the forefront of AI-powered technology. We provide a space where innovation is encouraged and your contributions directly impact our development goals.
- The chance to work with cutting-edge, AI-driven technology.
- A highly collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Clear pathways for professional growth and career development.
How to Apply
If you are a detail-oriented engineer who is excited about the future of robotics and spectral sensing, we encourage you to apply. Please submit your application to be considered for this role. We look forward to reviewing your background and discussing how your expertise can help us achieve our vision.
