The role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This position is perfect for someone with at least two years of practical experience who is eager to expand their capabilities and move toward a full-stack skillset. You will work within an agile team consisting of two to four developers and a lead, following two-week sprints to deliver high-quality code.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core software components using Java, J2EE, and the Spring framework.
- Implement and optimize information retrieval solutions using tools like Lucene or Solr.
- Collaborate closely with your team and a dedicated QA analyst to ensure our features are reliable and performant.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid foundation in software engineering and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We value candidates who can demonstrate a history of achieving strong results. Your technical background should include:
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and Spring.
- Experience with Angular for front-end development.
- Practical knowledge of information retrieval technologies.
- A willingness to mentor other team members and share your expertise.
- Bonus points if you have experience with VoIP or Asterisk.
- Fluency in English.
