We are looking for motivated students who are eager to apply their technical skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Our team focuses on building sophisticated software solutions, and we invite you to join us on-site in the United States to help us tackle complex challenges in the financial sector.
What you'll be doing
- You will design and build new software while also improving the systems we currently have in place.
- You will develop specialized tools to handle the processing, storage, and analysis of trade, quote, and financial data.
- You will collaborate directly with our quantitative research analysts, traders, and implementation programmers to deliver effective software solutions.
What you'll bring
- You are currently working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mathematics or Computer Science.
- You have a strong academic background and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- You have experience or knowledge in C++ or Java, ideally within a Linux environment.
- It is a plus if you are familiar with shell scripts, such as Bash, Perl, or CSH.
- Any experience with relational databases like SQL Server, Sybase, or Oracle is also highly valued.
- You are fluent in English.
