Developer Experience Engineer at Oso

Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Developer Experience Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This role is open to candidates located anywhere, provided you are fluent in English. You will be instrumental in shaping how the world thinks about authorization while helping us scale our reach to developers everywhere.

Your impact

• Educate the community: Become a subject matter expert on authorization, guiding developers through complex challenges and helping them adopt best practices.
• Drive discovery and adoption: Create compelling technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, videos, and sample applications, while representing Oso at conferences, meetups, and podcasts.
• Close the feedback loop: Engage directly with our users on platforms like Slack to solve their problems, then translate those insights into actionable feedback for our product roadmap.

What you'll need

• Professional experience as a developer working across multiple programming languages.
• A proven ability to produce clear, creative technical writing, with long-form samples available upon request.
• Previous experience working within a startup or a similarly fast-paced environment.
• A track record of delivering engaging technical presentations at conferences, meetups, or hackathons.
• Bonus points if you have firsthand experience building authorization systems.
