We are looking for a Senior Developer Experience Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. At Whop, we are building the infrastructure that powers the next generation of online businesses. We provide entrepreneurs with the tools they need to launch and scale digital products, including payment systems, storefronts, and community engagement features. With over $2.5 billion paid out to thousands of businesses and a community of 15 million users, we are backed by leading investors like Bain Capital and Insight Partners. Our team is composed of talent from top technology companies, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making our internal engineering processes faster and more reliable.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain tooling that allows our team to launch local and remote development environments with ease.
Enhance the speed and reliability of our CICD systems while building tools that support seamless rollouts and rollbacks.
Identify and eliminate technical debt while creating agentic systems that significantly boost the overall productivity of our engineering department.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.
A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where you can ship high-quality, reliable software.
Strong technical background in backend systems, databases, and automation.
A deep curiosity and a proactive mindset toward improving developer workflows.
Experience with public SDKs, event-driven architecture, or integrating LLMs into automated workflows is considered a plus.
