The role

We are searching for a Senior Developer Advocate to join our team on a full time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere. We need someone who possesses a strong background in software development but is primarily driven by the desire to educate others and foster a vibrant community. You will play a pivotal role in sustaining our rapid growth by acting as the bridge between our platform and the developers who rely on it every day.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate with our community of contributors and freelance authors to produce, refine, and publish high-quality educational roadmaps and technical articles.
• Oversee community engagement by managing discussions, pull requests, and issues on our GitHub repository to ensure our project remains a helpful and welcoming space.
• Produce diverse content, including technical articles, video scripts for our YouTube channel, and newsletter updates, to increase our reach and provide ongoing value to our users.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, community-driven environment. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in engineering or software development, paired with a deep passion for education and community management.
• Strong proficiency in content creation, including writing, video production, and managing social media channels.
• A data-driven mindset with the ability to perform trend analysis to suggest meaningful improvements to our educational content.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to manage relationships with influencers, journalists, and third-party partners.
• Familiarity with GitHub workflows and the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
