Role at a glance

We are looking for a Developer Advocate to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position based on-site in the United States. You will be the bridge between our technology and the developer community, helping engineers understand how to leverage our platform for their most demanding data projects.

Your impact

• Establish Rockset as a foundational piece of the modern AI and real-time data stack for engineers and developers.
• Produce high-quality technical content, including hands-on workshops, video walkthroughs, sample applications, and in-depth blog posts.
• Collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to build compelling demos, solution architectures, and presentations that showcase our capabilities.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong technical foundation and a passion for teaching others. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least three years of professional experience in developer relations, advocacy, or a similar capacity.
• A solid working knowledge of SQL.
• The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to audiences with varying levels of expertise.
• A genuine curiosity about the evolving landscape of Data Analytics, AI, and Cloud Services.
• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or Node.js is highly preferred.
• A background in Data Modeling, NoSQL, or working with Data Warehouses and Data Lakes is a plus.
