Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in India. You will serve as the primary face of our IT Operations team, acting as a key point of contact for end users while ensuring our office technology and remote support systems run smoothly.
Your impact
- Act as the go-to expert for technical assistance, providing high-quality support for both in-person and remote users to resolve incidents and fulfill service requests.
- Manage the full lifecycle of hardware and software support, including provisioning laptops, troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments, and maintaining office infrastructure like A/V systems and printers.
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities within our ticketing system and develop clear, helpful documentation to empower our users and improve internal processes.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a collaborative problem-solver with a passion for customer service and a drive to learn. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a desktop support environment.
- Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms including iOS and Android.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or Jira, along with familiarity using Intune for device management and Carbon for endpoint security.
- Experience supporting communication tools like Webex and Microsoft Teams, as well as general office infrastructure like networking and A/V systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly to users at all levels of the organization.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, and relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ or MCSE are highly encouraged.
