The role
We are searching for a Design Verification Engineer II to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position based on-site at our office in Needham, MA, where you will work five days a week. You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our hardware systems.
Core responsibilities
- You will verify and maintain the high-performance FPGA compute and networking systems that drive our electronic trading platforms.
- You will manage the entire verification lifecycle, ranging from initial test planning and specification to testbench development, execution, and coverage closure.
- You will collaborate closely with our design engineers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans while improving our internal verification tools and methodologies.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical foundation and a passion for hardware quality. We require the following qualifications:
- A BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in design verification for FPGAs or ASICs.
- A solid working knowledge of SystemVerilog for verification purposes.
- Proficiency in a Linux environment.
- Strong skills in debugging, problem-solving, and professional communication.
We also value candidates who bring additional technical depth, such as familiarity with constrained-random verification, functional coverage, and industry-standard simulation tools like VCS or Verdi. Knowledge of networking protocols, computer architecture, and programming languages like C, Python, or Perl will be considered a significant asset.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a collaborative work environment where you can tackle complex engineering challenges. Please note that this position requires full-time on-site attendance, and we are unable to provide employment sponsorship at this time.
How to apply
If you are a motivated engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to the future of capital markets infrastructure, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application to be considered for this opportunity.
