Design Engineer at ANIMA

At Anima, we are on a mission to deliver precision medicine to everyone in the world in under 24 hours. We are building a Care Enablement platform that automates clinical work, effectively multiplying the capacity of doctors while creating a superhuman personalized medicine agent. We are looking for a visionary Design Engineer to help us extend our existing product lines and build cutting-edge features in healthcare reinforcement learning and agentic AI. Role at a glance

This is a Senior level, Full Time position. We operate as a remote team, meaning you can work from anywhere. We are a design-led company where exceptional user experience is at the heart of every line of code we write.

Your impact

• Collaborate with our engineering and sales teams to identify, create, and implement user flows that make our applications a delight for both patients and doctors.
• Lead the design and implementation of flagship features, including video consultation tools and complex integrations with NHS APIs.
• Define and formalize our design standards while scaling our processes to ensure we continue shipping features that drive high user retention.

What you'll need

You are a frontend engineer at heart who possesses an exceptionally strong grasp of product intuition, UX, and design. We value individuals who think from first principles and have the potential to grow into senior executive roles. You should be fluent in English and bring the following qualities:

• A high level of product empathy, with an uncanny ability to intuit user needs and translate them into optimal UX flows.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics when working with Figma mockups.
• The ability to distill complex processes into simple, elegant interactions.
• A history of building useful projects and a desire to tackle novel challenges in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to clearly articulate designs to the team through sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.
