About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based at our Gorham facility, where you will play a vital role in our ongoing commitment to advanced manufacturing. You will be responsible for creating robust engineering solutions that drive efficiency and quality for our partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine automated systems and robotic equipment tailored for advanced manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and controls departments, to transform creative concepts into functional reality.
- Provide hands-on support for equipment commissioning, system troubleshooting, and process optimization directly on the production floor.
Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and 3D CAD software.
- Practical experience with robotics, motion systems, or automated machinery such as conveyors, actuators, and PLC-driven systems.
- Experience working with Mastercam.
- A creative mindset with the ability to turn abstract concepts into reliable, real-world solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- The flexibility to balance high-level design work with hands-on equipment support.
Location
This role is based on-site at our facility in Gorham, Maine, which is conveniently located just a few miles from I-95.
