As we continue to transform the world of payments, we are looking for a visionary Design Director to join our team in Sofia on a full-time, on-site basis.

Key outcomes

• Define and execute a comprehensive design strategy for all marketing assets and our website, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and business objectives.
• Manage the full lifecycle of design projects, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project timelines.
• Oversee our design intake processes and utilize data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead user research and usability testing initiatives to refine design decisions and enhance user experiences.
• Develop and maintain our website design system, ensuring consistency across all locales and platforms.
• Mentor and guide the design team, fostering a culture of professional growth and creative excellence.
• Explore and integrate AI technologies to streamline design operations and reduce manual workflows.
• Collaborate across departments to present design strategies and advocate for best practices in UX and digital trends.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Fluency in both English and Bulgarian.
• Ability to work on-site at our Sofia office and provide proof of eligibility to work in Bulgaria.
• A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in multidisciplinary design, specifically web content and motion graphics.
• Hands-on proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.
• Extensive experience with content management systems and managing large-scale websites.
• Proven ability to conduct user research and apply UX/UI principles to drive conversion.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
• Willingness to contribute directly to design tasks as part of our collaborative team.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience working within B2B or SaaS environments.
