Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Derivatives Product Counsel to join our legal department on a full-time, remote basis. This role is open to candidates located across Europe and the United Kingdom. You will be a key player in our legal operations, focusing on the sophisticated intersection of derivatives, blockchain technology, and global regulatory frameworks.
Your impact
- Provide expert legal guidance on the negotiation, documentation, and product analysis for a wide range of derivatives, including futures, swaps, options, and OTC products.
- Serve as a primary advisor on collateral management and master netting agreements while ensuring our business lines remain fully compliant with evolving regulations.
- Collaborate closely with our trading teams and external counsel to conduct thorough risk assessments and manage legal issues arising from market initiatives or client matters.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 6 years of professional experience in derivatives, ideally gained within a top-tier law firm or a major financial institution.
- A strong background in fintech or technology-focused legal work, with a genuine interest in the crypto asset space.
- The ability to work independently on complex projects while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Professional fluency in English.
