- You will be responsible for supervising our team of Engineering and Facilities leaders, ensuring that all machine breakdowns are addressed promptly and that we meet our key performance indicators.
- You will play a key role in our development projects, including the installation and commissioning of new machinery, the implementation of energy-saving plans, and maintaining strict engineering compliance for the safety of our people and products.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, ideally supported by an HNC or HND qualification or time-served experience.
- An electrical bias is preferred, along with prior experience working with wood processing or fast-moving consumer goods machinery.
- Proven experience in engineering management and a track record of delivering measurable results.
- Current 17th or 18th Edition certification.
- Strong computer literacy and excellent communication skills, allowing you to present ideas clearly to all levels of management.
- The ability to effectively manage budgets and prioritize complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
What you'll get
We offer the opportunity to work with a highly successful, growing organization where you can make a tangible impact on our manufacturing processes and facility development. You will be instrumental in shaping our engineering future while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals.
