Deployment Engineer at Fox Robotics

We are Fox Robotics, a company dedicated to building autonomous forklifts that serve as a human multiplier for dull and dangerous warehouse tasks. As the leader in the warehouse automation space, we have achieved strong product market fit and are currently scaling rapidly, with plans to grow our team from 100 to nearly 200 employees this year. We are looking for a Senior Deployment Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is a remote position that offers a unique, mission-driven environment where you can help us create robots that truly work. We also provide relocation support to Fayetteville, North Carolina, for those interested.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hands-on configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of our autonomous forklifts directly at customer sites.
• Act as a vital bridge between our customers and our internal engineering teams by translating feedback into actionable product improvements.
• Collect and analyze deployment data to influence the development of our hardware, software, and platform solutions.

Requirements

• A four-year degree or five to seven years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of both.
• Deep expertise in robotics systems and product usage.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
• Comfort working in various warehouse environments, including those with extreme temperatures.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial or automotive equipment, including the use of diagnostic tools like voltmeters.
• Proficiency with Linux and Python scripting is highly advantageous.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup culture.
