Kobalt is a global leader in the music industry, dedicated to empowering creators through technology. Since our founding in 2000, we have built a platform that prioritizes transparency, ownership, and efficiency for artists, songwriters, and labels. By embracing the streaming era, we have developed an infrastructure that helps creators access royalty payments faster and more accurately. With over 400 employees across 12 international offices, we represent more than 31,000 artists and 700,000 songs, working with iconic names like Paul McCartney, Childish Gambino, and the Disney Music Group. We are currently scaling our systems to support a wider range of songwriters, using technology to make professional representation accessible to those early in their careers.
The role
We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our growing product organization on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that can be performed from anywhere. You will be a key member of our expanding delivery team, which has grown from one to four people over the past year. In this position, you will help us navigate a multi-year technology transformation, ensuring our teams remain focused, agile, and effective as we scale our services to meet increasing global demand.
Core responsibilities
- Lead the adoption and scaling of agile methodologies across our portfolio, acting as a change agent to improve our overall maturity and delivery efficiency.
- Manage the successful execution of complex projects by maintaining clear roadmaps, managing budgets, and tracking timelines while ensuring alignment with our broader organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of transparency and collaboration by facilitating effective communication between cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and design, while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
Skills and experience
- Extensive experience in agile digital delivery management, with a proven ability to guide teams through complex projects while balancing time, cost, and quality.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Jira and Confluence for project and portfolio planning.
- A pragmatic approach to Scrum and hybrid agile frameworks, with the ability to tailor processes to specific team needs without adding unnecessary overhead.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
- A collaborative mindset, specifically regarding the 3 amigos relationship between delivery, engineering, and product.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation and benefits
We provide a supportive work environment designed to help you thrive both professionally and personally. Our benefits include:
- Hybrid work flexibility, with the option to work fully remotely.
- Paid time off, including 25 days of annual leave, one wellbeing day per quarter, and a Christmas closure.
- Half-day summer Fridays during July and August.
- Dedicated learning time on Friday afternoons outside of the summer months.
- A 5% pension contribution and health insurance.
