The role

We are seeking a Senior Decision Scientist to join our Data and Analytics team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. This is a strategic, high-impact position for an experienced professional who is comfortable navigating complex, unstructured problems within the SaaS industry. You will work closely with our Product, Finance, and Engineering departments to translate raw data into actionable insights that guide our most critical business decisions.

Core responsibilities

• Design and maintain sophisticated data models and visualization dashboards to track key performance metrics and support strategic planning.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to identify business objectives and execute quantitative analyses that drive product improvements and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure the integrity, quality, and availability of our data infrastructure as we scale.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in quantitative fields and a proven track record in data science or business intelligence. We require the following qualifications:

• A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.
• Three to five years of hands-on experience in decision science, data science, or business intelligence, preferably within a SaaS environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying complex, large-scale datasets, along with working knowledge of Python.
• Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau and a deep understanding of data modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
