We are looking for a DB Performance Engineer to join our SRE team and help us elevate the stability and speed of our massive infrastructure.
Role at a glance
This is a full-time, senior-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere. You will be working with a high-scale environment managing tens of thousands of databases and processing immense volumes of data every single day.
Your impact
- Optimize database queries and structures using MariaDB and SQL to ensure peak performance.
- Analyze and architect efficient pathways for data processing and management.
- Maintain the stability and performance of our databases through expert administration, indexing, and restructuring.
What you'll need
- Deep expertise in SQL and complex query optimization.
- Proven experience working with MariaDB or MySQL.
- A strong grasp of database design, indexing strategies, and structural architecture.
- At least a foundational understanding of PHP.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in English at a B2 level.
