What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Database Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a senior-level position designed for someone with at least five years of experience who is ready to take ownership of our database systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring our data architecture is secure, reliable, and optimized to support our business goals.

What will you do?

• You will design, implement, and maintain modern database solutions using technologies like MongoDB, Snowflake, and Confluent Kafka.
• You will manage our reporting and caching platforms, including Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, and Redis, to ensure high performance and accessibility.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data models, oversee change management, and maintain resilient backup and recovery procedures to support our business continuity efforts.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• You possess at least 5 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator or Engineer, with specific expertise in MongoDB, Snowflake, and Kafka.
• You are proficient in SQL and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• You have a solid understanding of cloud-based database environments, ETL processes, and data streaming concepts.
• You are comfortable working with ITIL processes, including incident and change management, and you communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
• You have a strong command of the English language.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $160,000, depending on your specific experience, credentials, and market conditions.
