What you'll be doing

• You will manage and optimize the performance of our critical database systems while ensuring the highest levels of security and data integrity.
• You will design and implement database transformations, maintenance routines, and indexing strategies, while also writing and refining complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• You will collaborate closely with our application developers to support new features, troubleshoot technical issues, and suggest effective caching strategies like Redis to meet our business needs.

What you'll bring

• You possess at least 6 years of software development experience.
• You have a deep understanding of relational database architecture and a mastery of SQL for writing and optimizing complex queries.
• You have hands-on experience with database design and production support for enterprise-level applications.
• You are familiar with using Kibana for application monitoring.
• You understand various caching strategies, including in-memory and distributed approaches like Redis.
• You are fluent in English and ready to work in a fully remote environment.
• It is a bonus if you have experience with time series databases like ClickHouse or Hydrolix, or if you have previously worked within a startup or a small, cross-functional team.
