The opportunity

We are looking for a Database and Data Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at the ONI facility in Washington, DC. This mid-level role is essential to our mission, as you will be responsible for the architecture and governance of our data systems. You will play a key role in ensuring our information is secure, accessible, and managed according to the highest industry standards. Please note that this position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and IAT Level II certification.

A day in the life

• You will design, implement, and oversee robust databases using SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL to ensure our data remains secure and highly available.
• You will create and maintain both logical and physical data models using professional tools like ER/Studio or Microsoft Visio.
• You will collaborate closely with our IT and cybersecurity departments to ensure that our data management practices are fully aligned with our broader security frameworks and architectural goals.

Who you are

You are a skilled professional with at least three years of experience in IA technology. You have a deep understanding of data governance and lifecycle management, and you are comfortable working in a high-security environment. You communicate effectively in English, and you are ready to apply your expertise in data modeling and storage management to support our critical initiatives. You are someone who values precision and enjoys working in a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
