Role at a glance
We are looking for a Mid-Level Data Software Engineer to join our GUST team in Serbia. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the data pipelines that form the backbone of our geospatial platform.
Your impact
- Build and maintain the FSQ Graph, ensuring that our platform remains performant, reliable, and scalable for all users.
- Develop and manage robust data pipelines that guarantee high data quality and consistency across our entire ecosystem.
- Collaborate with our engineering team to integrate new data sources and create innovative solutions that provide tangible value to our customers.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has a solid foundation in data engineering. You should be proficient in English and bring the following skills to the table:
- Two to four years of professional experience in software development.
- Hands-on expertise with Spark or Hadoop MapReduce data processing pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of databases and data warehouses.
- Professional experience with Python or Linux command-line scripting.
- Experience working with cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS.
- Excellent written communication skills to document your work and collaborate effectively.
