Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, and we are currently hiring candidates located within the contiguous United States and Canada. You will work directly with top-tier DeFi protocols to help them understand and optimize the systems they have built.

Your impact

• Conduct novel research to improve the safety and efficiency of premier DeFi protocols through dynamic parameter optimization, mechanism design, and rigorous data analysis.
• Take full ownership of client engagements by scoping projects, managing relationships, and delivering high-value insights.
• Produce engaging research content for public consumption to build our brand and meet client objectives, while creating intuitive, visually compelling dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll need

• At least 4 years of professional experience in data science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, along with experience using statistical or mathematical software.
• A proven ability to extract deep, actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of managing external client relationships.
• Experience working with financial products, pricing models, or various asset classes.
• The ability to work independently and thrive while pursuing abstract, high-level goals.
• Fluency in English.

The base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $180,000 USD, with additional incentive compensation and equity opportunities available. Our benefits package includes:
