You’ll join Brex, the AI-powered spend platform that gives companies integrated corporate cards, banking, global payments, and intuitive tools for travel and expenses. Tens of thousands of organizations-from startups to large enterprises such as DoorDash, Flexport, and Compass-rely on Brex to manage spend, cut costs, and operate more efficiently worldwide. We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist who wants to turn product data into clear decisions that improve customer experiences and fuel sustainable growth.
What you'll be doing
- Analyze how customers engage with our platform, track retention patterns, and measure the long-term value created by product changes.
- Build predictive models, run causal-inference studies, and design experiments that show exactly how new features affect growth and engagement.
- Work side-by-side with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to turn findings into concrete recommendations and help shape the product roadmap.
What you'll bring
- A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or another quantitative field.
- At least three years of hands-on experience in data science or product analytics, ideally within B2B SaaS or fintech.
- Expert-level SQL and Python (or R) skills for large-scale analysis and modeling.
- Deep experience with A/B testing, causal inference, and predictive modeling, plus the ability to turn complex results into clear business guidance.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker and strong data-visualization practices.
- Fluency in English and comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
What you'll get
We offer a salary range of $152,000 - $190,000. In addition, you’ll receive equity compensation and the flexibility of hybrid work, with at least two days each week in our New York office on Wednesdays and Thursdays and the option to work remotely for up to four weeks per year.
