Data Scientist at Stackline

Role at a glance

We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in our Seattle office, where you will be expected to work on-site four days a week. You will play a key role in our technical organization, working alongside engineers and product managers to develop and deploy advanced models that process over a billion data points every week.

Your impact

• Design, test, and deploy Large Language Models and Large Multimodal Models to enhance our suite of products.
• Build and validate Machine Learning pipelines while collaborating with leadership to ensure our data outputs drive real business value.
• Analyze complex datasets to establish quality control standards and provide actionable insights to our cross-functional teams.

What you'll need

We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a passion for building at scale. To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least one year of industry experience in data science, analytics, or engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models and Large Multimodal Models.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Spark.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• The ability to take a model from the prototyping phase to deployment at scale.

Perks and compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000. Beyond your base pay, we offer a comprehensive support package to ensure you can do your best work:
