We are currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our remote team and help us drive business strategy through data-driven insights.
Key outcomes
- Collaborate with product managers, operations leads, and engineers to provide the analytics necessary for informed decision-making.
- Partner with senior team members to develop and deploy innovative data science tools.
- Identify business challenges and create effective, actionable solutions that provide long-term value.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, simple language for non-expert stakeholders.
- Maintain a focus on iterative development and deliver high-quality data products that integrate seamlessly into existing workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience within the data field.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or scientific discipline, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
- Proven ability to apply data science techniques to solve significant business problems.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization platforms like Looker or Tableau.
- Strong skills in statistical programming, with a preference for Python and Pyspark.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- A genuine interest in the cryptocurrency industry and a collaborative, curious mindset.
Preferred qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in a similar role.
- A demonstrated track record of using Pyspark libraries to address complex data challenges.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, MLflow, or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with the Databricks environment.
- Previous professional experience within the Fintech or crypto sectors.
