About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will serve as a key member of our analytics group, responsible for building, refining, and validating the models that shape our lending criteria and verification processes. You will have the freedom to choose the best tools for your analysis, as our team is language agnostic and utilizes a variety of technologies including Python, R, SQL, SAS, and Mathematica. This is a unique opportunity to influence our risk management, marketing, and operational strategies while working alongside a highly skilled team of quantitative experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test sophisticated models to determine lending criteria and verification procedures.
- Perform ad hoc statistical and financial analyses to support key business strategies across risk, marketing, and operations.
- Interpret complex data sets and communicate your findings clearly to cross-functional teams to guide implementation and solve business challenges.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in an analytics or related field.
- Advanced programming proficiency with the ability to write custom scripts for data analysis using tools like Python or R.
- Proven experience working with relational databases, specifically SQL.
- Solid understanding of statistical and econometric modeling techniques.
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.

This position is based in the United States and follows a hybrid work model.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $87,400 to $109,200, with the final offer determined by your specific experience and skill set. In addition to base pay, you may be eligible for a bonus. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
