Data Scientist at Imagine Pediatrics

Imagine Pediatrics is a pediatrician-led medical group dedicated to transforming care for children with complex medical needs. We provide 24/7 virtual and in-home support to enhance existing care teams, and we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our remote team to help us leverage data to improve clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate clinical goals into effective machine learning and AI models.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, build data assets, and extract actionable insights regarding patient care and business strategy.
• Develop models that integrate clinical, claims, and social determinants of health data.
• Establish and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for model performance, including drift and hyperparameter tracking.
• Perform independent data preparation and exploratory analysis using SQL and Snowflake.
• Write clean, maintainable code while taking full ownership of the model development lifecycle.

Must-haves

• At least 3 years of professional experience in data science.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• A strong foundation in statistics, hypothesis testing, study design, and causal inference.
• The ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within a fast-paced start-up or growth-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience within the healthcare industry.
• Experience building with LLMs and implementing AI integrations.
• Technical skills in AWS, Tableau, dbt, Dagster, and distributed computing frameworks.

Benefits

This position offers a base salary range of $135,000 to $160,000, along with an annual bonus incentive and eligibility for equity compensation.
