With a presence spanning San Mateo, London, Australia, India, and beyond, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in India on a hybrid basis.
Key outcomes
- Design, implement, and refine machine learning algorithms specifically for computer vision and object detection tasks.
- Partner with software engineering, product management, and technical artist teams to translate project needs into high-impact technical solutions.
- Stay at the forefront of the field by researching and applying the latest advancements in machine learning and computer vision.
- Monitor and improve model performance to ensure high levels of accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Communicate project findings and technical progress clearly to both specialized and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- An advanced degree, such as a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD, in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience with computer vision models, including classical architectures like YOLO and FasterRCNN, as well as transformer-based models like ViT and BLIP.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience using machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Practical skills in data processing using libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
- A creative, analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to working collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- A self-motivated mindset with a strong desire to take ownership of projects and contribute to an inclusive team culture.
- Fluency in English.
