The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. In this role, you will be a key individual contributor responsible for designing, refining, and deploying credit risk and scoring models that directly influence our lending operations and risk management strategies. You will bridge the gap between technical data science and business objectives, working closely with our Credit, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure our models are not only sophisticated but also explainable and compliant. This is an end-to-end role where you will take ownership of the entire lifecycle of our models, from initial feature engineering to final production deployment.

A day in the life

• You will develop and implement scalable scoring models that drive tangible business impact and improve our credit assessment precision.
• You will collaborate with our Credit team to define and execute rollout strategies for new data science products.
• You will translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in credit risk and classification. You possess the following skills and experience:

• A proven track record of developing and validating credit models that satisfy both regulatory requirements and business performance goals.
• Expertise in Python and SQL, including hands-on experience with advanced libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience managing robust data pipelines, including ETL processes and cleaning data from diverse sources.
• Technical proficiency with deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Fluency in English, allowing you to communicate effectively across our international team.
