Conviva is the industry leader in digital customer experience optimization, providing an operational data platform that captures real-time telemetry for global brands like Disney, NBC, and the NFL. We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity to help drive our AI initiatives and enhance our real-time performance analytics platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize machine learning models to solve complex, real-world problems within our large-scale digital analytics environment.
- Develop innovative approaches for predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and automated alerting using time series and other complex datasets.
- Create proof-of-concept code and implement scalable machine learning solutions that directly improve our product capabilities.
- Process and analyze massive datasets using Ray and Spark.
- Collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to integrate your models into our production systems.
- Contribute to our AI roadmaps and stay current with emerging trends in the machine learning and data science fields.
Must-haves
- A PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or an MS with at least 3 years of experience in applied machine learning or data science.
- A strong foundation in statistical modeling, algorithms, and predictive data analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala.
- Proven ability to take models from the proof-of-concept stage to scalable, production-ready solutions.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and occasionally ambiguous environment.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with real-time data processing and analytics.
- Familiarity with advanced time series analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Background in building AI-powered alerts or anomaly detection applications.
- Knowledge of cloud-based machine learning deployment and MLOps best practices.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000, plus equity. Our benefits package includes:
