About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be at the heart of our data-driven strategy, using machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced statistics to uncover insights that guide our business decisions. You will work across various departments, including marketing, claims, and customer retention, to help us refine our operations and better serve our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning models to identify key trends and patterns that inform our overall business strategy.
- Build and deploy predictive models to support critical areas such as fraud detection, customer behavior analysis, and sales optimization.
- Partner with product management and engineering teams to integrate your data insights into our core systems and ensure our analytical infrastructure remains robust.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in data science and a desire to work in a fast-paced, scale-up environment. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with high proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Deep expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning, including familiarity with Gradient Boosting Machines and Neural Networks.
- Hands-on experience using industry-standard libraries such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working within Agile or Kanban methodologies.
