Data Scientist at Ondofinance

We're Ondo Finance, and our mission is to deliver institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. Our technology team builds decentralized finance tools while our asset management arm creates and manages tokenized funds. We were the first to tokenize exposure to U.S. Treasuries and have since expanded into equities, ETFs, and other assets. Founded by alumni of the Goldman Sachs Digital Assets Team and backed by Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, and Tiger Global, we lead the space in assets under management and operate as a fully remote team across the United States.

What is this role?

This is a full-time, remote Senior Data Scientist position. You will be the first data scientist on the team and will build the company's entire data and analytics function from the ground up.

What will you do?

• Design and maintain on-chain analytics infrastructure that tracks tokenized treasury products, bridge volumes, market-maker distributions, and smart-contract activity across our product suite.
• Build data pipelines, ETL processes, and visualization dashboards that turn raw blockchain and off-chain data into clear, actionable insights for marketing, strategy, and external presentations.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends, then translate findings into recommendations that guide product decisions and help shape our data infrastructure choices, including BI tools, event tracking, and A/B testing frameworks.

What makes you a great fit?

You bring three to four years of hands-on experience as a data scientist or analyst, including at least one year working directly with blockchain or web3 data. You are fluent in Python, SQL, and R, comfortable writing complex queries, and skilled at statistical analysis and data visualization. Experience with ETL pipelines, A/B testing, and BI platforms is essential, as is genuine familiarity with DeFi and active use of web3 products. Strong communication skills allow you to explain technical results to non-technical colleagues. Bonus points if you have published public dashboards on Dune or Flipside, understand concepts such as risk modeling and MEV, or have worked with market-making and trading systems. All work is conducted in English.
