What is this role?
We are hiring a Data Scientist on a full-time basis at the senior level. The position is fully remote, open to candidates located anywhere in Brazil, with the option for those in São Paulo to visit our office when needed.
What will you do?
- Lead strategic decision-making for user growth and product innovation by applying analytics, experimentation, forecasting, and machine learning to improve the overall consumer experience.
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and causal inference techniques that move from concept to measurable business impact at scale.
- Build and maintain automated, scalable data pipelines that support reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning initiatives across our internal products.
What makes you a great fit?
You bring a humble, passionate, and detail-oriented mindset along with a proven ability to solve complex problems creatively. You hold a BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and you have more than three years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and deep learning. You demonstrate at least four years of high proficiency in Python and SQL, along with practical expertise in A/B testing and causal inference. You are comfortable working extensively with AWS cloud technologies, MLOps practices for model deployment and monitoring, Docker for containerization, and Git for version control. All collaboration and documentation happen in English, so fluency in that language is required.
