Data Scientist, Product Analytics at Ladder

We are now looking for a Data Scientist, Product Analytics to join our growing team and help shape the next generation of our product.

What you'll be doing

• Turn user-behavior data into clear, actionable recommendations that guide feature development and prioritization across the product roadmap.
• Work side-by-side with Product, Engineering, and Design from the first spark of an idea through launch, setting goals, running experiments, and measuring real impact.
• Define the KPIs that matter, build dashboards to track them, and dig into root-cause analysis so the whole company can act on what the numbers reveal.

What you'll bring

• At least three years of hands-on experience running quantitative analyses on large data sets, ideally at a consumer technology company.
• Expert-level SQL skills for querying complex data at scale.
• A strong grasp of statistics and experimentation methods, especially A/B testing, so you can design tests and interpret results with confidence.
• Proven success presenting findings to product and leadership teams in a way that shapes strategy and drives decisions.
• A self-starter mindset: you enjoy owning projects from start to finish, spotting process improvements, and sharing what you learn with teammates.
• Comfort working quickly in a fast-paced environment while building trust across cross-functional teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

What you'll get

The base pay range targeted for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year. Base pay is determined by market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for equity and the benefits listed below.
