Role at a glance
We are looking for a Data Scientist II to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position that is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within our authorized states. You will serve as a subject matter expert, helping us understand donor behavior and optimizing the impact of our fundraising platform.
Your impact
- Embed with internal teams to provide actionable insights through SQL analysis, trend surfacing, and the development of statistical models.
- Strengthen our collective analytical capacity by improving reporting workflows, gathering requirements for new data products, and training colleagues on how to use them.
- Act as a conscientious steward of our data, ensuring we handle donor and user information with the highest level of care and integrity.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable working in an English-speaking environment and possess the following qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in analytics with a strong grasp of applied statistics.
- Expert-level SQL skills, including query tuning and experience designing ETL or reverse ETL pipelines.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python or R.
- A proven ability to use A/B testing, time series analysis, and exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns.
- Experience building interactive data visualizations using tools like Looker.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for various stakeholders.
- A commitment to testing and quality as you build out your models and insights.

The salary range for this position is $136,000 - $147,000. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and professional growth:
