The role
We are looking for a mid-level Data Scientist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This position is central to our mission of building cutting-edge models that extract meaningful signals from unstructured data. You will play a vital role in advancing our machine learning capabilities and ensuring our predictive insights provide genuine value to our customers.
Core responsibilities
- Maximize the impact of our platform by advancing our machine learning models and intellectual property to better serve our customers.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure our models perform reliably and efficiently within production environments.
- Partner with product design and customer-facing teams to translate complex data predictions into actionable, user-friendly features.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in data science and a passion for customer-focused innovation. We require the following qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in data science or machine learning engineering, including a minimum of 1 year working with NLP models in production.
- Expertise in Python and essential data science libraries such as PyTorch, HuggingFace, Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with modern data warehouses.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A self-starting mindset, comfortable navigating the fast-paced environment of a growing startup.
