What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Data Science Manager to join us on a full-time basis. This is a leadership position where you will guide a high-performing team in building machine learning products and internal tools that drive our business growth. You will work in a hybrid capacity, with an expectation to be in the office at least three days a week to collaborate and innovate with your colleagues across the United States.
What will you do?
- Lead and inspire a team of Data Scientists to deliver machine learning projects that directly improve our business performance.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data processing and machine learning pipelines.
- Collaborate across departments with product, technology, and business teams to identify new opportunities for machine learning solutions.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and machine learning, along with the following qualifications:
- Over seven years of industry experience building production-grade machine learning systems, including research, training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and algorithm development, with specific experience in areas like Bayesian methods, reinforcement learning, and deep learning architectures.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, allowing you to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and present actionable findings to senior leadership.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, with a master’s degree being a significant plus.
- Professional fluency in English and a proven ability to solve problems while working cross-functionally.
